Welcome.
I’m glad you’re here.
I believe that the therapeutic process can help facilitate change and healing, and I consider it a privilege to sit with individuals and couples as they embark on this journey.
I work with individuals and couples as they navigate a variety of issues that come up in life. How you view yourself, relationships with those closest to you, getting unstuck in decision making, traumatic experiences of all kinds, or simply in need of a safe place to share your feelings: each of these is a scenario that we can explore together. In addition to the variety of approaches and tools we can use together, I am trained as an enneagram teacher and can use this self-awareness tool in conjunction with therapy if helpful. Learn more about how we can journey together.
Prior to becoming a therapist, I spent more than twenty years as a singer-songwriter. I believe that this coinciding experience in creative professions gives me a unique perspective as we work together. Additionally, I enjoy facilitating retreats and small groups, and teaching in a variety of settings.
Nashville has been home since 1994; however, I grew up in southeast Virginia and still love getting to the ocean whenever possible. My husband and I have been married for more than twenty years and have three teenage children. I love to hike, read, cook, and spend time with family and friends.
